The fashion house Carven is inextricably linked to French haute couture. The label was founded in 1945 by couturier Madame Carmen de Tommaso. 
The fashion house later came under the leadership of Swiss creative director Serge Ruffieux, which has resulted in a renewed story for the brand. Simple elegance, feminine and stylish designs have been a hallmark of the Carven brand over the years.
